Mission

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for each individual while assisting them to reach their full potential.

Funding

Mur-Ci Homes receives partial funding from the Federal Government’s Medicaid program and is classified as an Intermediate Care Facility for Mental Retardation (ICF/MR). The balance of funds necessary to operate the homes is provided by the Friends of Mur-Ci Homes, Inc. Donations to this 501(c)(3) are tax deductible and may be designated for the general fund, the endowment fund or a specific purpose. Please contact Jackie Stewart at Jackie.stewart@murci.org or 615-641-6446 for details on how you can help.

Management

A team of dedicated specialists is required to operate the Homes under the direction of Jackie Stewart. A volunteer Board meets monthly and provides overall guidance coupled with fiscal responsibility. Board members include parents and business executives drawn from the community. The bylaws require that parents of residents serve on the Board.
