Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)

The QIDP assures that quality care and training are provided to clients using Active Treatment and following the guidelines of the ICF/IID regulations. The QIDP also supervises the activities of staff in maintaining an environment which is conducive to client development of independent functioning and overall quality of life. The QIDP will coordinate the Interdisciplinary Team and serve as an advocate for the clients to ensure their social needs are indentified and that outcomes are met.
The QIDP will work a varied shift to meet the needs of the home and the clients served.

Requirements:
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services related field and at least one year’s experience in the field of intellectual disabilities. A valid TN driver’s license is required. Supervisory experience is preferred. Applicant should have a high level of understanding of Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
